I’m really enjoying my course, we’ve started actual dissections and have dissection the back, shoulder and upper arm so far and tomorrow we move on to the lower arm and then onto the hand. I honestly didn’t think rooting around fat and fascia in search of nerves would be fun, and it’s not really gross at all once you get into it.

Aside from studies, went on the Anatomy social last night. Began with a quiz in the Anatomy museum in which we came, what, third from last? Haha it was fun anyway, although a little odd sitting getting drunk among body parts and lecturers! Then we went to the pub and got more drunk! Was a really good night though and got to meet some new people. Think I should stop being so antisocial and get out more!

Jamie is wanting to get rid of our cats which I am not in the least bit in favour of! Okay they run about like mad trying to launch themselves out of the window most of the time, and yes they fur up the carpets meaning I have to hoover daily but they’re my babies! I can’t get rid of them! Have tried asking around to see if anyone is looking for a couple of cats because I’m not taking them back to the cat’s protection as then I won’t know what’s happened to them and if they’re happy! Tried to persuade my parents into having them but they’re not up for it. We’ve been talking about getting a house in maybe Troon after we graduate, and that’s only a year and a half away. If we got a house we’d be able to let the cats outside and maybe they wouldn’t be so mental. :( I don’t know what’s going to happen.
