Christmas

Well it's been a while since I wrote. Mainly because it's Christmas and that's always a bit hectic!

Christmas was good, I got my tax disc for my car and a few other things. I can't really be bothered writing about Christmas to be honest. It depresses me because it's past!

I came back up to Glasgow on Boxing Day to see Jamie and ended up spending the day shopping with my Mum. However I've been with Jamie since then and we've been shopping and got loads of DVDs and I've bought season 1 of Lost so we've been watching that rather than PB.

I was up at Jamie's Dad's last night for dinner, that was good, apart from Jamie's cat hates me and tried to attack me!

Today we have done a little bit of work, and are now going to make dinner and then maybe going to the cinema later.

Sexy and massive

Tuesday... Well Tuesday I farted about in the house for ages waiting for Jamie's TV to arrive. And it didn't. But we decided we had to see each other so arranged to meet in Glasgow. It was well good finally seeing him as it feel like I've not been with him for ages.

Anyway we did not a lot - watched the second last episode of Prison Break season 1 and then sat up and talked. Then today (Wednesday) we were going to do some work but failed miserably really, but we're putting that down to the fact we've not seen each other in ages. Ooh and we watched the last episode of PB season 1. It's well exciting!

Then this evening we went to ASDA to get food and then drove through to Carluke and got Jamie's TV and I showed Jamie around Carluke, which he's decided isn't as shit as he wanted it to be, haha. Now Jamie's attempting to set up this TV, which is sexy and massive! I'm loving it!

Viewpoints

Last night, I have to start with that. It was most fun, I went a drive with Rob, Hannah and David and we went to McDonalds again for ice cream, and then ended up in Tescos in Wishaw where we bought more ice cream. But then after another wee drive Hannah and David had to go home. So Rob and I went another wee drive to the place called "Climpy Viewpoint" where you can almost touch the stars. Haha, sounds like and advertisement for Disneyworld or something. And then we proceeded to drive a bit too fast round bends and spill the remains of the ice cream all over the dashboard. And I discovered it's damn near impossible to drive while crying with laughter!

Today I got up pretty early and drove Dad into Glasgow to go see Ben carol singing. And I parked in a multi-storey carpark all by myself. It was a scary experience! I'm very bad at judging how close I can drive to things without hitting them. So we went to see Ben for a bit, then I left Dad and went to finish my Christmas shopping and came back for the last song. Then we got a coffee and drove back home and I think I scared Dad a bit, because apparently you're only supposed to do 70mph on a motorway... Who would have thought?

Then tonight I went to the Glasgow Fort with Rob and Nicole and we did a bit of shopping and then met Nicole's boyfriend Lindsay and went for Pizza Hut. Then we raced each other down the motorway which was SO fun! I've never raced anyone before! And I discovered that with two people in the car, the fastest my car physically does is 99mph! Gutted! I wanted to finally reach triple figures! Then we took Nicole and Lindsay to the Climpy Viewpoint and then we lost them somewhere in the countryside of Lanarkshire. However, Rob and I went to another Viewpoint - Kilncadzow Viewpoint - Where you can see the whole world in lights. Another advertisement there.

We went a nice wee drive around there, and I discovered that it's rather hard to drive on ice. It doesn't stop when you want it to and it doesn't go when you want it to either. It's weird. But then we were running out of petrol so we gave up on our little excursion and went back to Carluke. And now I'm feeling bad for doing no work, and missing Jamie lots. :(

And Nicole - I FORGOT MY THONG!

Driving home for Christmas

I'm home now for Christmas which both depresses me and makes me happy. I was going to stay in Glasgow for longer but when Jamie and I attempted to get up early and do some much-needed revision, we ended up in bed til 5pm and got no work done.

Anyway this week. Not much excitement really. Apart from Thursday. Thursday I not only went to Jamie's Economics lecture, but I went to my own chemistry and maths lectures. And I got into a lot of shit for not turning up to quite a lot of maths lectures. However maths is over now. No more maths. Ever. Until the exam in January.

Friday night we didn't go to 12 hour cheesy pop, we instead sat in and played Monopoly which would have been fun had I actually got any pink ones. Jamie won of course being the economist among us, and he's a bad loser so he *had* to win. Saturday we did nothing, and then said goodbye and went home.

Today I got up and went to East Kilbride Christmas shopping with my parents. I spent hundreds! It was fun though. And I got my extra loan in from SAAS for my Dad being off work so I've suddenly acquired an extra grand or so! Yuss! I'm rich! So I've got pretty much all my Christmas shopping done now, and I've spent the evening wrapping presents! Now I suppose I better do some work...

Goldfish

Monday... Monday I didn't go to any lectures, surprise surprise, and instead went into town with Jamie to buy my secret Santa. However we were pretty knackered due to staying up all night. My person is surprisingly difficult to buy for, but I did get something. And then I went home to go to Motherwell FC to get a poster signed. Which wasn't very fun, especially seeing as it took me an hour and a half to get home. I hate rush hour traffic.

So I went to Motherwell and got my poster signed, and then went home via McDonalds. I was only actually at home for long enough to fill in an application form for a job. Oh aye, I may have a job. 11.5 hours a week working in medical records at the hospital. it's on a Saturday and Sunday night, which means I'm leaving my Fridays free for being drunk. I hope I get it so I can save up for a flat.

About the flat, I'm thinking of sharing with more people rather than just with Jamie because it will be a hell of a lot cheaper. So we're going to try and sort something out with someone and then go and look at flats in January hopefully.

Tuesday... That's today. I actually went to uni to go to my last biology lab, where I discovered you're allowed to miss a lab and still gain credits, so I could actually have stayed in my bed this morning. However the lab was quite fun, we were playing with maggots. I hate maggots. They're quite funny though, especially the reject maggot who refused to burrow when he was supposed to. He was called Oddball.

After my lab i went and spoke to my maths lecturer who is completely fine with me missing 3 and a half weeks of maths, and he says I'm not going to lose credits for not going to my tutorials so looks like I'm okay there, and he went and photocopied his notes because apparently they make more sense than the ones on Moodle. Not like i can make sense of any notes anyway! After that I went for lunch and then went home to the flat and since then I've been copying up maths in the hope it will miraculously sink into my brains.

Meet the parents

What's happened since I last blogged... Well... I have dropped maths officially and am now taking Forensic Medicine instead! Yay! And it's in the faculty of Law, so I can technically say I'm a law student! I'm well excited.

I also went down to Troon with Jamie and met his Mum and stepdad and his kittens who are incredibly cute! Ah and his parents are nice too! And Troon has some lovely big houses, it's really posh I think. I feel like a wee skank living in Carluke now!

I'm at home just now putting up the Christmas decorations and I'm going back to Glasgow tonight to stay up all night and do my biology report. 1 week of uni left!

This is it

Yes guys. This is it. I'm not entirely sure what 'it' was.

I haven't written in ages. What's happened recently. Well, I haven't been to uni in quite some time. I went to Within Temptation on Friday with Josh and Aidan and that was brilliant, and all my flatmates went into town and got hammered while I wasn't there as they're all 18 or have ID. So yeah, good gig. Then I went home after that and stayed at home until Sunday to catch up on some maths. I'm quite caught up. Oh, talking of maths, I had my meeting with my advisor and I'm dropping maths in favour of Exploring the Cosmos, which is like stars for dummies. Hopefully i should manage to pass that next semester.

I don't like going home for that long, I missed Jamie too much. But yeah it's pretty much the only place I get any kind nd even then I don't really get *that* much work done. Hmm.. I didn't go to uni today, but I did go ASDA shopping instead and i only spent £35 which is rather good for me. And we've got proper meals (that's me and Jamie) Tonight's been hellish I've been trying desperately to understand maths. I'm sitting here stressed out of my box, Jamie is sleeping, and I really can't do anymore maths. I understand nothing that's in the test tomorrow. Bollocks.
