Since I last wrote, we have double glazing! It’s very nice, however I won’t be sad enough to post photographs. We opted for white PVC with a wood surround which frames them nicely. They were fitted over Monday and Tuesday and we have spent the rest of Tuesday and all today cleaning up the dust! We had to send the cats to my parents as they would have just loved to leap care-free out of a gaping hole in the wall. Missed them so much! It’s actually so lonely without them haring around like mentalists. They were misbehaving at my parents, my Mum shut them in the kitchen to stop them running up the hall all night and they ate a pack of pancakes and then escaped, got into my parents bedroom and woke my Mother on a Sunday morning by standing on her face! Aside from that, my Dad was making himself a nice lunch of pork pie and in the space of time it took him to nip to the toilet, Bailey had eaten his pork pie. Aside from that, my Mum has still given them tuna, custard, roast beef and seemingly anything else they meow for!

I’m alone tonight, for Jamie has gone home for the night so I’m supposed to be busy studying for this damn Molecules of Life exam on Friday, which I do not have a hope in hell of passing. I have been to one lecture since LAST SEPTEMBER and don’t even have notes for the 40-odd lectures I’ve missed. And half of the exam is on calculations and labs which I paid next to no attention in. Oh well, wish it was Friday and it would all be over.

I’m looking forward to Saturday, my first Saturday off in a while and Mum and I are going shopping :) Not been shopping with my Mum in ages! So we’re gonna have a girly day, and then as it’s my brothers 17th birthday on Saturday, he’s opted to go to Pizza Hut for dinner so we are meeting Jamie from work and Dad and Ben from football and then going for dinner and no doubt the parents will want to inspect the new windows. Also might be attending Imogen’s birthday that evening so should make for a good day.
