So back at uni for third year. It's been a pretty hectic week as we've been in all day every day with 3 hour labs and boring statistics lectures. Have decided antatomy is actually really hard! My friend danielle and I have spent our labs looking at cut up people with complete confusion! Then I was in work all weekend and had my only long lie til Xmas this morning, and as jamie was in uni at 10 I woke up with him at 8 and couldn't get back to sleep! Went home to my parents today as they're off to Florida on Thursday and went to see my grandparents as it was their 50th wedding anniversary last week. Sent from my iPhone

Have spent the last couple of days up at jamies dads in blackford which has been nice. Yesterday we arrived in the afternoon and went a 15mile cycle across the hills which was pretty exhausting, but we had a tasty barbeque awaiting our return! After dinner we played frisbee with their dog, Georgie, until Jamie threw it into the neighbours garden! Today we got up late and lazed about and were going to go out for a meal at the Blackford Hotel but weren't too hungry so settled for fish an chips in what I call the "wendy house", their summer house. Then watched Mr Bean :) Not really up for getting up really early to drive the hour back to Glasgow in time for work at 8am! Also hope my voice holds out talking all day, still not quite back to normal after the flu episode! Also looking forward to my first anatomy lecture at 11 on Monday :) Sent from my iPhone

I'm a little better this morning and have decided to go meet danielle in town to buy stuff for uni. Don't think I'll bother with all the textbooks I can probably get them from the library but I'll probably need "dissecting instruments" which sound rather interesting and maybe a new lab coat seeing as I have no idea where mine is! Jamie has decided we are now keeping the corsa for a year or so a the alfa romeo would cost like £500 to tax and MOT as well as costing £60 a time to fill up. So we shall persevere with the ned car until we have fully persuded jamies dad to give us a BMW! Sent from my iPhone

So apparently I have swine flu. I've completely lost my voice which has made for an interesting weekend at work as I have not been able to take any calls so have sat through two 10 hour shifts doing absolutly nothing - great that i'm getting paid to do nothing but it's incredibly boring!! I was meant to be going down to Troon with jamie to get the new car but seeing as I'm ill I didn't want to contaminate jamies parents! So I'm at my own parents which means I at least get to see my wee cats who I've been missing! Plus when I return to Glasgow we'll have the new car so I'll get to have a wee drive of it on Wednesday.
